It’s not every day a world leader seems just a bit in awe when meeting one’s heroes.
Yet there was Russian President Dmitry Medvedev again welcoming his favourite band in the world, Deep Purple, into his country residence near Moscow on Wednesday. And to the delight of the president, his 15-year-old son is digging the same vibes, playing a tune with the band. Talk about a house band heaven.
The band joined Medvedev before their concert in Moscow.
Deep Purple, no stranger to Russian audiences having played there several times over the years, keep attracting large audiences and gaining new fans every trip over. The president, due to a busy schedule, was unable to attend the show, so he did the next best thing — got the band to come to him.
